The 33rd America's Cup held in February 2010 was an uncommon Deed of Gift Match brought about by BMW Oracle Racing's hostile challenge as opposed to the more common mutual consent events. After a lengthy court battle, the duel for the trophy was finally decided in a best-of-three series in mammoth, cutting-edge multihulls.
